What happens if I use up my attempts on the RSA NSW assessment?

How to unlock another attempt after failing an RSA (NSW) assessment 3 times.

RSA NSW works differently to our other courses when it comes to running out of attempts, so support can't simply provide additional attempts on request.

If you're unsuccessful after 3 attempts on a component (a module assessment or role-play), you'll need to:

  1. Complete a documented further learning activity covering that component

  2. Have a qualified assessor review your further learning and sign off on it

  3. Once signed off, your attempt will be unlocked and you can try again

This process aligns with L&GNSW requirements - it isn't something we can shortcut on your behalf or action immediately, since it requires a qualified assessor's review at each step.
